Trell Nunley

Herman Latrell “Trell” Nunley, 87, of Iuka, MS, died Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Nunley was a member of Providence Baptist Church and was the founder of Nunley Trucking Company, Inc. in Iuka. He enjoyed watching his cattle and running his gravel pit. He also loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Nunley; three sons, Herman Nunley, Jr. (Lauren), Darrell Nunley (Rhonda), and Jonathan Nunley (Emily); one daughter, Rhonda Nunley Dawson; one brother, Paulie Nunley; four sisters, Opal Crabb, Lela South, Ellie Lambert, and Tina Puckett, all of Iuka; 11 grandchildren, Danielle Taylor, Claire Williams (Brooks), Mary Beth Sheffield (Kevin), Bradley Nunley (LaShea), Josh Nunley (Brooke), B. J. Nunley (Kinsley), Amber Spencer (Jason), Nick Dawson (Maegan), Leah McMorries (Ryan), Connor Nunley, and Addy Nunley; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Fletcher and Mary Irene “Rene” Smith Nunley; two brothers, L. C. Nunley and A. J. Nunley; and three sisters, Christine Brumley, Lois Woodruff, and Burndeen Blackard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Herschell Shamblin. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brad Nunley, Josh Nunley, Nick Dawson, B. J. Nunley, Connor Nunley, and Bryson Taylor. Honorary pallbearers include Jason Spencer, Ryan McMorries, Kevin Sheffield, Brooks Williams, Bill Phillips, and Adam Smith. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
