Terry Lynn Barnes

Terry Lynn Barnes, 64, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. For most of his life, Terry repaired cars. He worked out of his home or with Popcorn Moore and loved every minute of it. If he wasn’t working, he was spending time outside. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the times he spent fishing with his Uncle Larry were some of his favorites. Terry is survived by his mother, Betty Barnes; his twin brother, Jerry Barnes of Corinth; his daughter, Alyson White of Burnsville; his sons, Jeremy Barnes of Etta and Derek Barnes of Tishomingo; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Straub, Mackenzie Straub, Channing Spires, Robert Grice, and Mitchell Jones; his nephew, Tyler Barnes; and his nieces, Amy Glover, Lacy Dallas, and Jessica Jeter. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Barnes; his grandparents, Corbin and Frances Whitehurst and Bal and Marie Barnes; his sister, Kathy Barnes McMeans; and his uncle, Larry Whitehurst. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Jackson Camp Cemetery, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Pallbearers include Jerry Barnes, Derek Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Ryan Glover, Ben Glover, and Trent Strickland.
