Larry Gene Hammock, 81, of Golden, MS, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence. He was employed at Laroche Industries in Cherokee, AL for 44 years. He was also a member of Community Center Baptist Church in Red Bay, AL. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hammock of Golden, MS; his sons, Todd Hammock (Delaina) of McKinney, TX and Terry Hammock of Gulf Shores, AL; his sisters, Dale Rushing of Iuka, MS and Cindy Fountain (Stanley) of Gulf Shores, AL; his grandchildren, Kathryn Hammock and Karoline Hammock of Ocean Springs, MS; two nephews, Brian Rushing and Robert Walker; and one niece, Desiree Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Eugene and Thelma Hindman Hammock. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Golden Chapel United Methodist Church, officiated by Bro. Roger Wood.
