Frankie Puckett

Frankie Puckett, 69, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, died on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Frankie was a Christian by faith and loved adventure, great food, his family, and God. There were many different seasons of his life including iron working, logging, and trucking. Throughout his years, he also enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, antique tractors, and motorcycle racing. He was especially thankful for the many friendships and relationships that all the various facets of his life brought. He started Puckett Trucking Inc. in 1988, and it remains a successful family business to this day. Frankie is survived by his wife, Ruth Puckett; his children, Chris “Bob” Puckett (Amanda), Scott Puckett, Emily Burkett (Michael), and Andrew Mills (Amy); his granddaughters, Shelby and Hannah Puckett and Lacey and Shiloh Burkett; his very close nephew, Matthew Puckett (Emily); his special great-nephews, Langston Puckett and Brewer Puckett; his brother, Kent Puckett and family; his special aunt, Louise “Lou” Puckett; his special cousin, Linda McClung (Kent); and a host of other beloved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.O. and Joy Puckett. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Michael Hodgin. Pallbearers include Chris “Bob” Puckett, Scott Puckett, Matthew Puckett, Lenard Umberger, Andrew Mills, and Michael Burkett. A private family burial will follow in Boggs Chapel Cemetery. Frankie leaves behind a legacy of generosity, so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Lighthouse Foundation of Corinth’s Toy Store.
