Earl Garner, Jr., 89, of Iuka, MS died on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Earl was born on September 15, 1932, in Greenwood, West Virginia. He was a member of the Tishomingo Baptist Church and was retired from the Department of Defense. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed raising goats, riding his motorcycle, gardening, and traveling. Earl was a member of the Gideons for 20 years and a Shriner, as well as a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club. The apple of his eye was his granddaughter, Bailee Frazier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Hattie Garner; two sisters, Mary Hornbeck and Helen Hornbeck; one brother, David Garner; one son, Alan Garner; three daughters, Debbie Dew, Donna Prieto, and Nancy Wood; and one granddaughter, Farrah Frazier O'Toole. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen Garner; two step-sons, Scott Frazier and Rodney Frazier (Chrystal), both of Iuka, MS; one brother, Benny Garner (Connie) of Pastaskala, OH; and one granddaughter, Bailee Frazier of Cullman, AL. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Bro. Robbie Crane and Bro. Rusty Fair. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
