Aubrey Leon Ferguson, 85, of Hernando, MS, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Hernando Baptist Church. He was also a U. S. Army veteran and served in Okinawa during the Korean War. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Mississippi State University and was employed as a contract administrator in the aviation industry. Mr. Ferguson enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his barn. He is survived by two sons, Jim Ferguson of Hernando, and John Ferguson (Laurabeth) of Oxford; one brother, Bobby Ferguson (Musa) of Aberdeen; one sister, Frances F. Lippe of Las Vegas, NV; and three grandchildren, William Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson, and Emma Grace Ferguson, all of Oxford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan B. Ferguson; his parents, James and Flora Humphries Ferguson; a brother, James C. “Billy” Ferguson; and two sisters, Juanita Vaughn and Doris Gill. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ron Leonard. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers include Randy Ferguson, Chris Collins, William Ferguson, Daniel Ferguson, Phillip Bonds, and Dennis Bonds. Honorary pallbearers include Bryce Ferguson and Tate Ferguson.
