Annie Mae Wiley, 87, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 11, 1937, to the late Saul and Loney Highland. Ann was always a hard worker. She worked at Genesco for 19 years and then went on to do combined federal service with TVA and the U.S. Department of Defense. Ann loved music and was a great musician. Gospel and country music were her favorite, and she was very talented at playing the musical keyboard. Ann is survived by her sister, Betty Quillen; her special nephew, Billy White; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. “Billy” Wiley, Jr.; her parents, Saul and Loney Highland; her brothers, James (Lila), Poter (Bea), Jordan, and William A. (Lis) Highland; her sisters, Pearl Barrett (Franklin), Christine Cooper (Willard), Emergene White (Alvie), Lorene Rhodes (Hubert), Ruby Brown (Horace), Mary Coggins (Charlie); and several nieces and nephews. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Frankie Smith. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
