Winford Puckett, 89, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. Winford enjoyed trading and selling cars, collecting knives, and watching basketball. He was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church and listening to the gospel music and preaching. His greatest joy was his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jerry George and Bro. Roger Wood. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Holt, Eric Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Darrell Cain, Charles Hardwick, Larry Hardwick, and Randy Hardwick. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Holt (Mike), Sandra Cain (John), and Lisa Johnson (Tim); his sister, Ernesteen Hardwick; his grandchildren, Brian Holt (Sherry), Eric Johnson, Jesse Johnson, and Darrell Cain; his great grandchildren, Dawson Holt, Dylan Holt, Levi Holt, and Logan Holt; and his special nieces and nephews, Genice Jones, Cindy Hardwick, Charles Hardwick, Larry Hardwick, and Randy Hardwick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Puckett; his parents, Eugene and Linnie Mae Ham Puckett; two infant brothers; and his sister, Evateen Brumley.
