William Green Travis

William Green Travis, 69, of Iuka, MS passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at his residence. William's biggest joy was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys football and traveling to new places. William volunteered for the Army and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Alice Hoke Travis; one daughter, Kristina Ozment (Raymond) of Iuka; one son, Jimmy Jones, Jr. (Becky) of Lumberton, TX; 8 grandchildren, Travis Jones (Ashley) of Spurger, TX, Ryan Ozment of Clinton, MS, Alyssa Roehr of Lumberton, TX, Abigail Ozment of Senatobia, MS, Noah Roehr of Kountze, TX, Alivia Jones of Kountze, TX, Mark Jones of Woodville, TX, and Avery Ozment of Iuka, MS; two great grandchildren; and one sister, R. Dawn Smith of Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Travis and Dorothy Scully Travis; one brother, James D. Travis, Jr.; and one sister, Rebecca Louise Solly.
