Virginia Audrey Underwood House

Virginia Audrey Underwood House, 97, of Collierville, TN, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Methodist Hospital - Germantown. She was a God loving, God fearing woman, of the Baptist faith, who enjoyed teaching Sunday Morning Bible Class. Mrs. House could always be found where her family was. Being the caregiver to them, her life revolved around all her family, and she would not have had it any other way. She is survived by her children, Larry House (Barbara), Steve House, and Linda Silk (Paul); her grandchildren, Heather Hardin (Wayne), Jennifer Thompson, Amy Henley (Ray), and Sean Silk; her great-grandchildren, Brooke, Emmy, Dawson, Ava, and Rya; and her great-great-grandson William. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil L. House; her parents, Jim and Clara Cox Underwood; her daughter-in-law, Donna House; and her siblings, Arthur Underwood, Jewel Underwood, Ira Lee McBee, and James Underwood. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Sister Wanda Keele. Burial will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery.
