Tommy Elliott South, 67, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Monday, July 27, 2020, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Tommy was retired from Plumrose in Booneville. He enjoyed gospel music and visiting with family and friends. He is survived by one brother, Larry South; one sister, Margaret Clark; two nephews, Freddie Clark, Jr. (Jennifer) and Bradley Clark (Ashley); two great-nieces, Avari Clark and Callie Clark; a great-nephew, James Elliot Clark; and his special friends, Junior and Ruth Ticer. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. T. and Lylath Elliott South. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, graveside at New Lebanon Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Rick Johnson. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers include Sherrell Umfress, Redelfe Cordoba, Clifford Williams, Keith Williford, Michael Timbes, and Dewayne Walker.
