Tommy D. Adair

d. April 20, 2025

Sheffield, AL

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommy D. Adair, a beloved truck driver hailing from beautiful Mississippi, who left us on April 20, 2025, in Sheffield, AL. Tommy was a laid-back guy who had a knack for getting that big rig rolling down the highway. He cherished the open road and the freedom that came with it, creating countless memories behind the wheel.

Tommy lived his life with a relaxed spirit and a grin that could light up a gloomy day. He was one of those people you couldn’t help but feel comfortable around, sharing stories and laughter as easily as he shared the road with his fellow drivers.

He was not only a brother and uncle, but also a source of joy and support for his family. Survived by his mother, Jean Adair, and his brother, Phillip Adair, alongside his sister-in-law Dana, Tommy's family was his pride and joy. He doted on his nieces and nephews – Blaine (Laura Beth), Hudson, Huck, and Brady, as well as Kristen (Jarrod), Annie, Pyper, Harper, and Macy – always ready with a joke or a fun story that would keep them entertained. Tommy was also preceded in passing by his father, Harold Adair, who will undoubtedly be welcoming him with open arms.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held for friends and family to share their own stories, reminisce, and celebrate Tommy's life at the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Iuka, Mississippi, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following that, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blaine Adair, Jarrod Wallace, Steve Patrick, and Nick Newman. It’s the perfect chance for all who knew him to gather, celebrate his laid-back style, and honor his memory.

Rest in peace, Tommy, you will be dearly missed, but your spirit will ride on in every truck on the highway.
