Thomas A. Kay, 75, of Iuka, MS, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his residence. Thomas enjoyed working in his garden, old race cars, and collecting old music, mostly country. He was an avid fisherman, a master wood worker, and enjoyed grilling for his family and friends. He retired from the Tishomingo County Electric Power Company after 36 years. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Sheldon Lambert. Interment will follow in Hubbard-Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers include James Lowell Barnes, Chris Garner, L. C. Gilchrist, Jerry Locke, Frank Brinkley, and Robert Deaton. Honorary pallbearers include Stanton Clark, John H. Gaines, Donnie Holland, Bobby Reynolds, and the employees of Tishomingo County Electric Power Association. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Lola Kay of Iuka; three daughters, Debra Kay of Tishomingo, Diane Glidewell (Barry) of Burnsville, and Selena Burns (Ben) of Iuka; a son, Bo Kay of Iuka; two sisters, Betty Holland (Donnie) and Carolyn Kay, both of Iuka; his grandchildren, Adam Kay (Rachel), Aaden Kay, Garron Kay, Chad Glidewell, Chelsey Bobo (Tyler), Kaylee Davis, and Konner Davis; and his great grandchildren, Jon Isaac Bobo and Ian Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Aaron and Ruby Inez Reynolds Kay, and his brother, Sydney Joe Kay. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
