Thomas Jesse "Tommy" Bacon, born August 3, 1950, passed away April 9, 2025, surrounded by his family. Tommy never met a stranger, and he was a friend to all. He was known for his laughter and his kind heart. He enjoyed working in the yard and being on the lake with his family and friends. Tommy is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Bacon; his daughters, Vicky Strickland (Tim), Robbie Strickland (Scott), Michael Walker (Angela), and Beth Walker; his sister, Ruby Butler; his brother-in-law, Ralph Farr; his grandchildren, Jessica Parson (Clay), Justin Strickland, Wesley Strickland (Erin), Jennifer Strickland, Brandy Haugh, Robert Walker (Brittany), James Walker (Danyelle), Luke Calton, and Brian Calton (Stephanie); 15 great-grandchildren; his nieces, Liz Young and Laura McKlveen; 3 great-nieces; and 1 great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Falls and Blanch Bacon; and his sister, Dorothy Farr. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Pallbearers include Justin Strickland, Welsey Strickland, Robert Walker, James Walker, Sean Young, and Brian Calton. Honorary pallbearers include Adam Smith, Danny Barnes, A.C. Morgan, Sunny Blackburn, and Jimmy Hughes. Burial will be in Camp Ground Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Tommy's honor toSt. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
