Terry Pirtle, 66, of Tishomingo, MS, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Prentiss County, Mississippi. Terry enjoyed fishing, going to church, and watching gospel shows on television. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Jedi. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Pirtle; his niece, Tonya Long (Dickey); his nephew, Jamie Deaton (Shonda); his aunts and uncles, Glenda Floyd (Clay), Betty Webb, Charles Webb (Belinda), James Webb, Larry Webb (Brenda), and Dexter Gasaway; a special cousin and friend, Anthony “Bubby” Webb; and a host of other cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Dimple Pirtle; his sister, Brenda Mitchell; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Odell Webb, and Mr. and Mrs. George Pirtle; two brothers-in-law, Darrell Mitchell and David Feltman; and his aunts and uncles, Ray Webb, Edward Slack; Pete and Opal Slack, Cecil and Inez Pirtle, Glen and Mary Lou Slack, J. R. and Ruth Hutchens, Robert and Bookie Pirtle, Lorene Whaley, Ella May Gasaway, and Lester and Dona Nunley. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Gerald Duncan. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers include Larry Webb, Dave Webb, Richard Franklin, Randy Tolar, Keith Fugitt, and Robert Stacy. Honorary pallbearers include Johnathan Slack and Samuel Webb. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka and will continue on Saturday until service time.
