Tammy Hampton, 57, of Iuka, MS passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at her cousin's residence. Tammy was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she played the piano and taught children and youth classes. She enjoyed working in her garden, mowing the lawn, and music. She also enjoyed animals and being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Sam Hampton; her son, Dr. Alex Hampton; her mother in law, Jimmie Hampton; and her sister/cousin, BeckBeck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Carley Sue Leatherwood Scruggs. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 5pm until 8pm at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Services will be on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 11am, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Bobby Johnson. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Hampton, Wade Hampton, Phillip Hampton, Charles Hampton, Ronny Mac Reedy, and Joshua Hampton. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Adam Hampton, and Thomas Hampton. Donations may be made in Tammy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
