Steven Keith Smith, 68, of Iuka, MS, died on April 8, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. He was a Civil Engineer that specialized in Papermills and Nuclear Plants. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police in Germany and The Red Stone Arsinal. He was a graduate of Leeds, Alabama and Jefferson State College. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and traveling. Steve was a Christian and a member of Rocky SPrings Methodist Church and the American Legion. Survivors are his wife, Sandra Hall Smith; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Smith; his sister, Rebekah Smith Sudsberry (Ray); his daughters, Dana Bearden and Angelina Smith; his son, Justin Smith; two grandchildren, Jacob Bearden and Brooklyn Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Sadie Miller, Hallie MIller, and Slade Bearden. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Smith; a son-in-law, Doug Bearden; his grandparents, Amos and Maudie Smith, and W.T. and Mildred Knight; his parents-in-law, Palmer and Marry Hall; and his brother-in-law, Dr. Stanley Hall. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 10, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jerry Bonds. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
