Steve Shelton, 62, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Steve was an avid baseball fan, enjoying watching the Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Missouri Tigers, but his favorite team to watch was the one his grandson was playing on. He was a faithful member of The Bridge of Burnsville where he served on the Board of Directors, the Children’s Ministry, a teacher, and was known for his exuberant worship of His Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife, Karen Allen Shelton; his parents, Wayne and Shirley Shelton; his daughter, Stephanie Shelton; his sister, Tammy Presson (Dewayne); his grandchildren, Eli, Ella, and Noah; his special friends, Brian and Stacie Mitchell and Mike and Vicki Hutson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his mother in law, Virgie Allen. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at The Bridge in Burnsville from 5pm until 8pm. Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at The Bridge in Burnsville, officiated by Rev. Dewayne Presson and Bro. James Rich. Burial will be in Valley of the Dogwoods Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eli Burciaga, Jonathan Presson, Zach Glover, Aaron Batchelor, Coty Prather, and Weston Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be the young men of The Bridge.
