Ruthie Barnes Green

Ruthie Barnes Green, 88, of Iuka, MS, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She enjoyed watching westerns, working in her flower garden, and going to church. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking homemade bread. Her favorite past time was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Renee Sandlin (David), and Donald Bullard; her great grandchildren, Laken Jones, Marlee Jones, Angel Tigner, and Kelsey Qualls (Wade); her cousin and special friend, Maxine Wilbanks; and her special friends, Mamie Adams and Lila Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Mary Lee Reece Barnes; her daughter, Karen Ruth Green; her son, Ricky Green; her daughter in law, Frances Green; her granddaughter, Angie Draper; her sister, Ruby Fuller; and her brothers, Donnie Barnes and Clester Barnes. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Richardson, Jared Frazier, Raymond Jones, Jonathan Lambert, Josh Saunders, and Dustin Floyd.
