Ruby Jewel Johnson, 91, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and cooking for her large family. She lovingly reared nine children. Visitation is scheduled for 10 AM until 1 PM on Friday, April 6, at Mission Lighthouse Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Mission Lighthouse Church, officiated by Bro. John Gwatney. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by four sons, Gary Johnson (Sandy) of Pelham, AL; James Johnson (Donna) of Iuka; Richard Johnson of Iuka; and Roger Johnson (Claudine) of Iuka; four daughters, Fay Dobbs of Iuka; Kathy Rivers (Dwight) of Cherokee, AL; JoAnn Loden (Kevin) of Opelika, AL; and Pam Payne (David) of Iuka; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Grady Johnson, who pastored Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Colbert Co., AL for 25 years; her parents, John and Jeannie Marlar; her daughter, Jewnell Mathis; two grandchildren, Jennifer Mathis and Wendell Dobbs; and three great grandchildren, Randi Gail Broadway, Tad McAnally, and Nathan Burrell.
