Roy E. Puckett

Roy E. Puckett, 82, of Burnsville, MS, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at his residence. Roy enjoyed fishing. He was a very loving person who would help anyone and everyone he encountered if he could. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Burnsville, MS, officiated by Bro. Mark Jones and Bro. Roger Wood. Interment will follow in Harmony Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his son, Marty Puckett of Burnsville, MS; his brother, Earnest Puckett (Tina) of Iuka, MS; his sister, Shirley Smith (Bill); his grandson, Scott Puckett (Jessica); his great grandchild, Mollie; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman Benjamin and Emma Mae Hamm Puckett; and his brothers, John Puckett, C.I. Puckett, and Ed Puckett.
