Quthel Reed Mcnatt

April 20, 1935 — December 14, 2020

Quthel McNatt, 85, of Tishomingo, MS passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, surrounded by his family. Quthel was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was a member of IBEW Local 474. He was also the Mayor of Tishomingo from 1989 until 1993. Quthel enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. McNatt was one of the most unselfish and genuine person you would ever meet. He leaves behind a legacy for his family through hard work and love. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sara Haines McNatt; his sons, Edward Steve McNatt, Wesley Reed McNatt (Cathia), and Joshua Alan McNatt (Kayla); his sisters, Vonnie Ledgewood and Shirley Vaughan (Randy); his brother, Jerry McNatt (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Gage McNatt, Brady Butler, Belle Moody, Karmen McNatt, and Maddyx McNatt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Lola McClung McNatt; his son, Gerald "Bud" McNatt; and his siblings, Lakeman McNatt, Bill McNatt, Thomas McNatt, Claydus McNatt, and Connie House. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 10:30 am until 1:30 pm, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Tishomingo Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for 1:30 pm, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Rusty Fair and Royce Howie. Burial will be in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Royce Howie, Joseph McNatt, Gage McNatt, Brady Butler, Jacob Holloway, and Darel Holloway. Donations may be made in Quthel's honor to the Tishomingo Baptist Church.
