Philip Wayne Dendy, 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. Philip was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired truck driver. He loved gambling and his cat, Ziva. He is survived by his wife, Penny Dendy; five daughters, Gaela Lashley (Greg), Tracie Nash (Alan), Amanda Dendy, Candy Owens (Jonathan), and Adrian Wilbanks (Bryan); 11 grandchildren, Garrett Lashley, Kaleigh Colburn, Tyler Lashley, Kayla Owens, Ross Nash, Kalee Lathrop, Morgan Wilbanks, Olivia Williams, Jathan Owens, Lane Wilbanks, and Aiden Dendy; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Alfred Dendy and Susie Faye Cook Green; and a sister, Susan Ramey. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 18, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Chris Borden. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Olan Grimes, Earl Hobbs, Bryan Wilbanks, Alan Nash, Johnny Owens, and Greg Lashley. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
