Peggy Joyce Hubbard Booker

Peggy Joyce Hubbard Booker, 82, of Iuka, MS, died on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Southern Magnolia Estates. Peggy enjoyed sewing, quilting, and painting. She loved listening to her windchimes and gardening. Peggy was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed her career as a nurse. Her greatest joys were her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Doyle Booker; her children, Beth Booker Brown (Scottie) and Kevin Booker (Hollie); her sister, Judy Hubbard Mooney (Mike); her grandchildren, Katie Brown Whirley (Matthew), Matthew Brown (Haley), Ethan Brown (Macy Leatherwood), Lily Reed, Abigail Reed, and Ava Reed; her great-grandchild, Rosaleigh Whirley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alma Hubbard; her sister, Sue Hubbard; and her brother, James Harold Hubbard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 15, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, April 15, 2024, at Holder Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell and Bro. Sheldon Lambert. Burial will be in Holder Cemetery.
