Paula Cummings

Paula Cummings, 61, of Iuka, MS, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was a graduate of Burnsville High School, and was later a graduate of Itawamba Community College. She was a Registered Nurse at the Iuka Hospital for 36 years. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Sunday, December 17 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 12 Noon on Monday, December 18, 2017 at New Liberty Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. Ed Kennedy and Bro. Raybon Richardson. Interment will follow in the Cummings Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Cummings, Jerry Miller, Jeff Underwood, Brandon DeVore, Lester “Bubba” Carpenter, and Ryan Smith. Honorary bearers will be Doug Lomenick, Dr. Al Flannery, Chandler South, the employees of the Emergency Department of the Iuka Hospital, and the men of New Liberty Baptist Church. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her mother, Emogene Laird Cummings of Iuka; one daughter, Kari Bridges (Randy) of Iuka; two brothers, Nickey Cummings (Janie) and Rickey Cummings (Phyllis), both of Iuka; one grandchild, Landon Bridges; one niece, Nicole South; one nephew, Daniel Cummings; several great nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other family.
