Opal Irene Nunley Crabb, 92, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at The Hospitality House in Iuka. Mrs. Crabb was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress and worked at several local factories. Known as “The Yo-Yo Lady” in quilting circles, her passion was making handmade quilts. She also loved caring for her family. She is survived by two sons, Donald Crabb, Jr. of Iuka, and Quincy Crabb (Debra) of Franklin, IN; one daughter, Annette Russell (Raines) of Tishomingo; one brother, Paulie Nunley of Iuka; three sisters, Lela South, Ellie Lambert, and Tina Puckett, all of Iuka; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Crabb, Sr.; a daughter, Marcia Van Crabb; her parents, Lonnie Fletcher and Rena Smith Nunley; three brothers, L. C. Nunley, A. J. Nunley, and Trell Nunley; and three sisters, Christine Brumley, Lois Woodruff, and Burndeen Blackard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Phil Dawson. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers include Phillip South, Joey Holt, Mikey Crabb, Clayton Mills, Edmund Crowell, Dustin Ware, Claire Nunley Williams, and Danny Dexter. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church.
