Omer Alton Adcock, 77, of Iuka, MS, died on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days. Omer was known for his dancing and his whistling. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Doris Adcock; his sons, Glenn Adcock, Keith Adcock, and Brandon Smith; his daughters, Larissa Edwards (Jimmy), Linda Lindley (Michael), Rhonda Freeman, and Brianna Wilson (Dustin); his granddaughter, Abby Hopkins (Nathan) and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Martha “Mote” Roberts and Gaylon “Day” Yow; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Lorine Johnson Adcock; and his sister, Lola Sheppard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 2pm until 4pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 4pm at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Bro. David Grumbach. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Wilson, Kenny Lindley, Jacob Stewart, Wesley Yow, Trent Yow, Edwin Edwards, Jared Lindley, and Jeff Roberts.
