Mitchell Robert Case Long, 59, of Tishomingo, MS, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mr. Long was formerly employed at the Tishomingo Grain Elevator and was more recently employed as a pipefitter at Monotech in Iuka. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved deer hunting. He is survived by two daughters, Cortney Kennedy (Beau) of Golden, and Tiffany Wallace (Daniel) of Tishomingo; two brothers, Billy Long (Julia) of Paden, and Lowell Long (Judy) of Tishomingo; one sister, Debbie Grimes of Iuka; three grandchildren, Gracie Sweeney, Katelynn Johnson, and Gradynn Kennedy; a host of nieces and nephews; his caretaker, Amanda Bowling; and family friends, Ivy Dees and Ashley Woodruff. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Mack and Joyce Widener Long. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka.
