Mildred Mae White, 88, of Burnsville, MS, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mrs. White was a founding member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church and a lifelong pastor’s wife. She was formerly employed as a seamstress and worked at several local factories. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking. She is survived by two sons, Robert White (Jeanibell) of Hot Springs, AR, and Gary White (Sandy) of Burnsville; five grandchildren, Karen Adams, Rhonda White, Derenda Tackett, Jana Young, and Jenny Glidewell; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Talmadge White; her parents, Ellis and Josie Lamb Whitaker; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda White. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Bobby Cobb. Interment will follow in Harmony Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick Young, Ethan Young, Steven Glidewell, Dobbye Tackett, Trenton White, and Jeff Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers include Jeremy Fowler and Jordan Glidewell. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen.
