Michael Hurd Daniel

Michael Hurd Daniel, 74, of Tishomingo, MS, died on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. Michael enjoyed fishing, working on his farm, and was known for enjoying a good cigar. He accepted Christ at a young age at Maud Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Michael loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, Latricia Daniel; his children, Jeffrey Daniel and Alicia Lann (T.J.); his siblings, Mark Daniel (Dianne) and Peggy Stanfield (Thomas); his grandchildren, Zach Daniel (Alma), Allison Daniel, Madison Hooper, Olivia Brown (Wesley), Avery Hooper, Tyler Lann, and Abbi Lann; his great-grandchildren, Izaiah Daniel, Hazel Weathers, Ellie Kayte Mann, and Kaliah Daniel; his side-kick, Max; his fishing buddy, James "Peanut" Belue; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Peggy Hurd Daniel. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. J.B. Burns. Burial will follow in Maud Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Channing Stanfield, Joshua "Bubba" Daniel, Jeremy "Tadpole" Matlock, Blake Bowling, Zach Daniel, and Jeff Schroeder.
