Micah Bivins, 38, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in his home. He graduated from Tishomingo County High School in 2003 and then made the decision to join the military. Micah was a disabled veteran of the United States Army, and while enlisted, he was 101st Air Borne and served in Baghdad, Iraq. In his free time, Micah enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, and no matter what he was on, he loved going fast. Micah is survived by his parents, Volley Jr. and Myra Bivins of Iuka, MS; his daughter, Lilah Bivins of Wetumpka, AL; his sister, Kandis Bivins of Corinth, MS; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Casey Bivins; and his grandparents, Volley Sr. and Ethelena Bivins, and George and Flora Handley.
