Mary Dean Christian Godwin

Mary Dean Christian Godwin, 92, of Iuka, MS passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Southern Magnolia Estates. Mary was a devout christian who was a member of Gospel Chapel. She was a seamstress who made most of the families clothing. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading her Bible, canning, and gardening. Her greatest joy in life was her family and knowing where she would be when the Good Lord called her home. She is survived by her sons, Clark Godwin (Charlotte) and Mark Godwin (Karen); her sisters, Mabel Pulley, Robbie Ann Provins, and Yvonne Gregory (Bill); her brother, Paul Edward Christian; her grandchildren, Bethany Howell (Brad), Stephanie Godwin, Emily Godwin, Jonathan Godwin, and Stephen Godwin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Frye Godwin; her parents, Frank and Lillie Mae Conway Christian; and her siblings, Douglas Christian and Johnnie Saltzgiver. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 am until 12 Noon on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Services are scheduled for 12 Noon on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Mike Hunt. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
