Margarette Gaye Gardner

Margarette Gaye Gardner, 58, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in her home. Gaye was a very talented beautician and thoroughly enjoyed getting to do hair and makeup. When she wasn’t working with people, she loved dog sitting or just spending time with her own beloved dogs. Her dogs and her family meant a lot to her, and she always cherished the trips she took to Goat Island with her cousin, Connie Permenter. Gaye is preceded in death by her mother, Margarette Heathcott Sherrod; her father, William "Billy" Gardner; her sister, Michelle Cook; and her aunt, Ruby Gaye Gardner. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with her services. Gaye was laid to rest by her father, William "Billy" Gardner, in Oak Grove Cemetery.
