Margaret Ruth Hubbard

Margaret Ruth White Hubbard, 78, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1945 in Tulsa, OK to Albert C. and Ruth White. She grew up in Houston, TX and that is where she met her husband, William Hubbard, originally from Iuka. They later moved to Iuka which is where they made their home.

Margaret worked at various factories around Iuka, including the shirt and shoe factories, as well as Bauhaus. She later earned her degree as an LPN at the age of 62 and worked at Tishomingo Living Center. In later years she moved to Tupelo to Traceway Retirement Community to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She was a member of Spring Hill Church and was a faithful member prior to moving to Tupelo.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy, son-in-law, Grant, and grandchildren, Cori and Hank; her sister-in-law, Connie White, and nephew, Dillon White, of Katy, TX; her brother-in-law, Glenn Patrick, and niece, Jill Tullos, of Tomball, TX.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Hubbard; her parents, Albert C. and Ruth White; her brother, Fred White; and her sister, Linda Patrick.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 5 from 11:00 to 12:00 at Spring Hill Church in Midway with a memorial service following at 12:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spring Hill Church Building Fund.
