Mable Whitfield Brown

Mable Whitfield Brown, 89, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at her residence in Iuka. She enjoyed gardening, helping everyone she could, cooking, and spoiling her children. She loved going to Redwood Hut to eat catfish and traveling with her husband before he passed. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM until 1 PM on Saturday, July 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tony Lambert and Bro. Roger Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh Harwell, Arthur Harwell, O. L. Robinson, Larry Carlisle, and Ray Gaines. Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her children, Patricia Brown of Iuka and Barry Brown (June) of Rienzi; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Martha Jean Forsythe; and her caregiver, Misty Hinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her parents, Walter Smith and Georgia Gertrude Seago Whitfield; her sisters, Gladys Gertrude and Mildred; and her brothers, Noel and Clay.
