Lynn Ray Long, 76, of Burnsville, MS, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Mr. Long was a retired auto and diesel mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, and antique cars. He especially loved his dog, Pepper. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Zaporowski (Richard) of Algonquin, IL; one son, Jason Long of Chicago, IL; one brother, Sam Long of Iuka; three sisters, Linda Brewer (Travis) of Burnsville, Fannie Mae Smith of Iuka, and Fern Baker of Iuka; and three grandchildren, Scott Zaporowski, Brandon Zaporowski, and Felicia Zaporowski. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Long; his parents, Watson and Mae Long; and two brothers-in-law, Thomas Smith and Don Baker. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
