Lydia Grace Weeks

Lydia Grace Weeks, 10, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. Lydia loved sports and played soccer, basketball, softball, and travel ball with the Iuka Chieftains. She also enjoyed turning flips and being sassy, and spending time with her family, especially her brothers. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, at the Iuka Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, at the Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Acey Floyd and Rev. Corey Cummings. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her parents, Laura and Wesley Weeks of Iuka; her grandparents, Michael Beard, Gary and Vanessa Borden, Rudy and Renee Rocha, Mary Frances Mullen, and James Ray Cummings; two brothers, Liam Weeks and Rilee Weeks; her special friends, the Orick family and Chet McNeely; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the Iuka Chieftains Travel Ball Team. Lydia is also survived by the three children whose lives were directly saved and the numerous lives that will be impacted by the donation of her organs.
