Lonnie Carroll Davis

Lonnie Carroll Davis, Sr., 80, of Iuka, Mississippi, departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at his residence. Over the years, Lonnie worked as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and heavy equipment mechanic. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and working on anything with a motor. Lonnie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Davis; his two sons, Lonnie Davis, Jr. (Debra) and Donnie Davis (Carrie); his three daughters, Debbie Davis (Mike), Darla Bullock (Vaden), and Jennifer Davis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his two sisters, Kathy Davis and Peggy Davis. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Davis; his mother, Minnie Bullard; and his two sisters, Melanie Davis Dotson and Shirley Grimes. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 18, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and going until service time. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, officiated by Bro. Roger Pounders and Lonnie Davis, Jr. Pallbearers include Stevie Williams, Joseph Alago, Logan Davis, William Skinner, Jerry Earnest, and Lannie Campbell.
