Joseph Ed Robinson

Joseph Ed Robinson, 75, went to his heavenly home Thursday, December 2, 2021.  Joe was born August 22, 1946, to William “Bill” Robinson and Flodie Dexter Robinson in Iuka, MS, where he lived with his wife Martha for 57 years.  Joe was an ironworker and a member of the Ironworkers Local #477 for 54 years.  Joe loved the Lord, enjoyed attending church, and reading his bibles. Joe enjoyed watching sports, gardening, and spending time with his family.  Joe was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Iuka, MS, for over 50 years, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  After retirement, Joe and Martha enjoyed many years of travel and seeing the world.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 4, from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, December 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka and will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Bonds and Bro. J.B. Burns.  Bro. Paul Hook will say a special prayer.  Interment will follow in Camp Ground Cemetery.

Joe is survived by his faithful and devoted wife, Martha Robinson; his three children, LeighAnn Hollingsworth (Lee), Amanda Russell (Jason), and Dustin Robinson (Julie); two sisters, Monita Hook (Paul) and Nancy Elliott (Donald Wayne);brother, Charlie Robinson (Betty); 8 grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Zach Barnett, Ely Barnett, Walker Taylor, Lindsay Osorio, Brody McGee, Garrett McGee, and Rose Russell; 4 great grandchildren, Athena Osorio, Ashton Osorio, Emsley Taylor, and Oakly Taylor.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Flodie Robinson; one sister, Pauline Lomenick; two brothers, Richard “Dickie” Robinson and William “Billy” Robinson.

Pallbearers include Ethan Taylor, Zach Barnett, Ely Barnett, Walker Taylor, Garrett McGee, Eddie Johnson, and honorary pallbearer Brody McGee.
