Kent Davis

Joseph "Kent" Davis, 64, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in his home. For the last 30 years, Mr. Kent worked as a truck driver. Most recently, he was employed by Morgan Van Lines, and he loved his job. When he wasn't driving a truck, you could find him fishing, riding his Harley, or mowing. He was a perfectionist when it came to his yard, and he enjoyed every minute he spent taking care of it. He attended church at the Bridge in Burnsville and the Gospel Lighthouse in Tishomingo. He loved his friends and family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mr. Kent is survived by his wife, Patricia Diann Davis; his daughter, Jennifer Milam (Dakota Scott); his step-son, Michael Scott Kroush; his grandchildren, Maliyah Sumler and Daken Milam; his sisters, Carolyn Ramey and Sheri Davis; and his brother, Mike Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Robert Davis Jr. and Norma Jean Turberville Davis; his grandparents; and his baby brother. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Visitation will continue from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Bridge in Burnsville. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at The Bridge in Burnsville, officiated by Bro. Jason Roberts. Pallbearers include Dakota Scott, Stevie Davis, Jake Ramey, Mike Davis, Dwayne Evans, Joe Damanio, and Frank Sternisha. A graveside service will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, officiated by Bro.
