Johnie Richard “Billy Joe” Holland, 81, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Mr. Holland was born on December 7, 1937 in Burnsville, MS. He was retired from truck driving. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Pallbearers will be Brandon Holland, Tim Wren, Rodney Gilchrist, Ronnie Gilchrist, L. C. Gilchrist, and Danny Dexter. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived his sons, Billy R. Holland and Tony Holland (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Ashley R. Wren (Tim) and Brandon Holland; his great granddaughter, Raylee Wren; his brother in law, L.C. Gilchrist (Brenda); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Gilchrist Holland; his parents, E.C. and Mae Holland; his brothers, Dede Holland and T.B. Holland; his sister, Christine Cornelison; and his parents in law, Lonnie and Josie Gilchrist.
