Jo Ann Broussard, 92, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Jo Ann retired from Toltec in Burnsville and was a member of Berea Church of Christ. In her free time, she loved to cook, sew, and socialize. She was famous for her banana bread. Her spontaneous nature, contagious smile, and sweet but spunky attitude made her someone that everybody loved. She was always willing to get up and go on a spur of the moment trip and enjoyed getting to just spend time with people. Jo Ann is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cannlies Jospeh “Bruce” Broussard; her daughter, Rhonda Regenia Broussard; her parents, Jimmie Brackeen and Lester Benjamin Bobo; and her siblings. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Berea Church of Christ, officiated by Chad Bowen.
