James "Jim" Jowers, 68, of New Site, MS passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at his residence. He enjoyed dancing, riding motorcycles, collecting NASCAR memorabilia and Indian artifacts and listening to music. He also was an avid car lover and enthusiast. He is survived by his special friend, Linda Bentley; his daughters, Hailie Jowers (Kenny Price) and Jennifer Ellsworth (Ed); his sister, Mary Cunningham (Bryant); his brothers, Dan Jowers and Tim Jowers (Chris); his grandchildren, Korben Price and Ashley Ellsworth; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin and Nola Lucille Cason Jowers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Rich. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
