James "Jim" Floyd Frederick

James Floyd "Jim" Frederick, 85, of Iuka, MS passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022 at his residence at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Jim was born June 8, 1936, to Troy and Lillie May Frederick in Iuka, MS. Jim was a professional welder whose favorite pastimes included enjoying the beauty of nature while hunting and fishing. As a U.S. Army Veteran, he loved his country and cherished freedom. During his time of service, he was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany. Loved ones who cleared the path for Jim's heavenly rest and peace are his parents, Troy and Lillie May Frederick. Loved ones that will miss Jim until they meet again are his two daughters, Katherine Frederick Lavieri (Dave) and Loretta Frederick; his grandchildren, Denna Lavieri Hunter (Tra), Evan Lavieri (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Capri, Roman, and Siena Hunter, and Ophelia Lavieri; his sister, Fairy Davis; his nieces, Sheila Davis and Teresa Davis; and his nephews, James Davis and Eddie Davis. The family would like to thank the staff of Tishomingo Manor and Dr. Al Flannery. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements.
