James Roy Holt, 75, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, January 21, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Holt was formerly employed at Genesco Shoe Company, and later retired from T.B.E.I. where he worked as a welder. He enjoyed woodworking, golf, and gardening. He is survived by one son, Chris Holt; one sister, Sherry Kugle; and a grandchild, Savanna Holt, all of Iuka. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. “Sam” and Hazel Cagle Holt; a brother, Donald Holt; and a sister, Judy Blakney. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, graveside at Eastport Cemetery, officiated by Jimmy Hughes. Interment will follow in Eastport Cemetery.
