Ishbel Medley McDougal, 88, of Tishomingo, MS, died Sunday, March 25, 2018, at her residence. Mrs. McDougal was an avid sports fan and loved watching sports of all kinds on TV. She enjoyed cooking, especially baking, and was known for her chocolate pies and jam cakes. Mrs. McDougal loved animals and watching Animal Planet on TV, as well as spending time with her family. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ralph Culp. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dan Medley, Don Medley, Jerry Medley, Johnny Medley, Benny McClung, and Danny McClung. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one son, John Austin McDougal (Tammy) of Saltillo; one daughter, Tami Carr (Charles) of Tishomingo; a sister, Janell Burnett of Midland, TX; a son-in-law, Bro. Ralph Culp of Corinth; seven grandchildren, Tina Beall, Chris Beall (Phyllis), Dilan Carr (Maggie Jones), Blayne Carr, Kara Easley (Shawn), Julie McDougal, and Michael Culp; six great-grandchildren, Kayla Beall, Kristin Beall, Kendall Beall, Zoe Easley, Mae Easley, and Karsten Culp; and three great-great-grandchildren, Annaleigh Anthony, Hunter Beall, and Layne McPeak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McDougal; a daughter, Rebecca Culp; her parents, Daniel and Naomi Fowler Medley; four brothers; and three sisters.
