Gorman P. Vandiver, 71, of Iuka, MS, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. He was a member of South Crossroads Baptist Church, and was a graduate of the Burnsville High School Class of 1964. He enjoyed listening to music and to the radio, traveling in his car, and attending family reunions. He is survived by his brothers, Jimmie Vandiver (Peggy) of Humble, TX and Earnest Lucian Vandiver (Ann) of The Woodlands, TX; his sister, Shirley Williams of Iuka; and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ella Lucille Busby Vandiver; and his brother, Dale Vandiver. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 12 Noon until 2 PM on Sunday, April 29, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Scott Webber. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers include Iver Vandiver, Jerry Don Busby, Chad Vandiver, Kevin Vandiver, Jeffrey Williams, and Stephen Williams. The family would like to especially thank all the staff of Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home for all of their excellent and loving care and support over the years.
