Evelyn Grisham Barnes, 83, of Iuka, MS, died on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, reading, browsing the internet, and her dog, Heidi. She was a member of Spring Hill Church. She is survived by her son, Keith Barnes (Troy); her sister, JoAnn Bolton (Lamar); her nieces, Kim Carpenter (Brad) and Katie Beth Woods; her nephews, Matthew Woods (Jeannie), Guy Carpenter, and Blake Woods; and her brother-in-law, Wayne Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Barnes; her parents, William Joseph and Bernice Lois Gray Grisham; her sister-in-law, Linda Woods; and her brother-in-law, Jackie Barnes. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Jimmy Smith. Burial will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery.
