Eloise Drinkard

Eloise Drinkard, 85, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. Eloise was a nurse for 30 plus years and retired from Whitfield Nursing Home where she was the head LPN. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, working in her flower garden, and collecting stamps and coins. Her greatest blessing in life was being a mother and grandmother and getting to spend time with her family. Visitation is scheduled from 5 until 8 P.M., Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ken Garner. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her daughters, Faye Schmuck (Jurgen), Kathy Drinkard (Tommy), Carol Highfield, and Debbie Felks; her sons, Stanley Drinkard, Mike Drinkard (Peggy), and Phillip Drinkard; her sister, Jolene Trinkle (Leroy); her brother, Hosea Thorne (Peggy); her grandchildren, Anthony Bain (Helen), Kevin Bain (Sheila), Brooke Highfield, Jason Drinkard (Cierra), Tyler Holland, Molly Schmuck, and Clint Newton; her great grandchildren, Azlea Morgan, Faith Brown, Charleigh Drinkard, McKinlee Drinkard, Justin Bain, Craig Bain, and Nicole Bain; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Craig and Loise Bonds Thorne; her daughter, Angie Bain; and her brothers, Avon Craig Thorne and Wendell Thorne. Donations may be made to the Mt.
