Elizabeth Jo "Bonnie" Hillman, known for her radiant smile and immeasurable heart, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, after a long battle with dementia. Born on August 5, 1943, in Memphis, TN, she was the beloved daughter of Herman and Ruth Williams, who preceded her in death.
Bonnie was a cherished mother to her three daughters, Natalie (Regina) Hillman of Millington, TN, Debra (Jason) Ervin of Millington, TN, and Amanda (Boyd) Hendrix of Atoka, TN. She was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, John Shaw, Meghan Ervin, Kaylee Shaw, and Levi Hendrix, and a loving great-grandmother to Nolan Shaw and Parker Hendrix. Her family also includes her two brothers, Ronnie (Angie) Williams of Grand Prairie, TX, and Eddie (Barbara) Williams of Counce, TN.
After retiring from UT Health Sciences, Bonnie moved to Burnsville, MS, where she dedicated her time to helping others at Cutshall Funeral Home. Her kindness and friendship were treasured by all who knew her.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Services to honor Bonnie's life are scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. James Rich. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Boyd Hendrix, Jay Shaw, John Shaw, Nicholas Williams, Mason Byrd, Skipper Hillman, and Jason Ervin.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her caregiver, Pam Whirley, Mason Byrd, the staff at Tishomingo Manor, and Gentiva Hospice for their exceptional care.
